Surface Duo launched with incredible praise for its build quality and hardware, externally at least. Internally, Microsoft’s first foldable features last years specifications and misses out on a few key features, such as wireless charging, 5G, and NFC. Additionally, while it has a “peak mode” to quickly glance at notifications, it requires you to slightly open the device to view them, which is still somewhat of an inconvenience.
Many of these inconveniences, particularly the lack of NFC and quick access to notifications could be offset to a smartwatch, and that’s where this Surface Watch concept by Reiten Cheng comes in.
This, of course, is just a concept of what a Microsoft-branded smartwatch would be like at the premium level, but if you’re looking for a smartwatch you could buy today, there are many options to choose from. Be it a Wear OS watch, Fitbit, or Samsung watch, there’s something for everyone.
Make sure to visit Reiten’s website to see more images of this concept and what went into its design. I for one, would buy a Surface-branded smartwatch in a heartbeat, and I hope we see one in the near future.
Thank you sharing useful information for us. i always read your blog.
Lets hope this wil be a reality one day.
